It is in nice original condition and would make for a great project or just left as is. The rope-start Wisconsin engine pulls easy, runs and operates.
The carburetor will need to be tuned and adjusted for it to run better, currently it surges at low RPMs but smoothes out at higher speeds. The gas tank is an unusual style with the original plastic venting gas cap. The tractor can be set to various speeds depending on the placement of the belt in the different pulley slots. It appears to be missing the v-belt to operate the reverse mechanism. The original Wards Riverside tires are in good condition but do have light hairline cracks around the tread. The tires hold air without any problem during long-term storage. The tractor comes with the installed cultivator toolbar plus two additional cultivator tines, which are missing the toolbar clamps. The tractor is in original condition so it is not perfect. The item "1950s Montgomery Ward garden tractor, Wards Power-Trac walkbehind cultivator" is in sale since Tuesday, August 11, 2020.
